A community gathering on the beach

Events

Meet us on the coast.

Cleanups, walks, planting days, and gatherings — there's almost always something happening on the shore. All events are free unless noted.

APR 22

Earth Day Coast Festival

· 10:00 AM–3:00 PM · Harbor Cove Beach lawn

A day on the shore with hands-on science booths, a guided dune walk, kids’ activities, and partner conservation groups. Come learn how your block connects to the sea.

JUL 11

Monthly Beach Cleanup

· 9:00–11:00 AM · Harbor Cove Beach, north lot

Our flagship monthly cleanup. Grab buckets and grabbers, log what you find, and keep a morning of debris out of the surf. Gloves and bags provided; all ages welcome, no sign-up required.

JUL 25

Tide Pool Walk

· 7:30–9:00 AM · Cabrillo Point rocky shore

A docent-led low-tide walk through the rocky intertidal — anemones, sea stars, and the surprising lives in between. Family-friendly. Wear shoes that can get wet.

AUG 15

Restoration Planting Day

· 8:30 AM–12:00 PM · Marsh Creek wetland preserve

Help put native dune and wetland plants in the ground. Restoration staff lead the work and explain the why behind each species. Tools, water, and snacks provided.

SEP 19

State of the Coast

· 6:00–8:00 PM · Bayfront Community Center

Our annual community gathering: a year of restoration and water-quality findings, what they mean for the coast, and where we go next. Free and open to all — light refreshments served.

Registration buttons are demo only — not wired to a backend.
